Kieran Foran is set to honour his contract with the Parramatta Eels, Blue and Gold Glory has been told.
Early last week it was revealed the Eels were unable to register Foran's contract as the NRL were concerned about his $1 million dollar release clause.
It was assumed Foran would renege on his deal with the Eels calling an emergency board meeting last week to discuss the contract.
However, Foran has re-negotiated a deal to turn out in the blue and gold in 2016.
It is understood his contract will run for the next two seasons with two one year options in Foran's favour.
Effectively he now has a get-out clause relating to the tenure of coach Brad Arthur and this will aim to ensure stability in the Eels' coaching ranks for the next two years at least.
For club management, a severe crisis has been averted. Kieran Foran will pull on the blue and gold and Brad Arthur's job remains secure as ever.
